It’s day 12 and I have missed a few days but I’m back. Today it was about slowing down, enjoying the moment. I was so tired today and I decided to take a 30 minute nap. I set my timer and it did feel like a nice power nap. I woke to man cub playing the guitar, what a nice way to wake up. I thought a cup of coffee sounded like a good idea. I brewed up a cup and decided to take a picture of my coffee mug and me. I love this mug because it’s from my sisters mother-n-law from France and she lives in this beautiful region of Bretange and I think it’s so sweet that she has brought me two coffee mugs on her last two recent visits because she knows I have a thing for mugs. As I took the image of me and my mug I realized this is a simple and relaxing pleasure for me while for others this just isn’t a possibility. I’m very fortunate that I can brew a cup of coffee in the middle of the day and drink it out of a coffee mug from a beautiful country. I don’t want to take these moments for granted and while I may complain a little that I don’t sleep well at night or that my skin is especially dry and itchy, these are just very small inconveniences compared to how others don’t even have a bed to sleep in at night.
