This summer has been what I like to call the summer of Niall. Abbie took on a sheep project with her school agriculture class and it was a very big responsibility and huge undertaking. She finished this project last week and we have a little free time before school picks up again in a couple of weeks.
We planned a mother daughter trip with another mother and another daughter, so let’s just call it a girls trip. It was a short trip but it was a really fun trip. We drove up to Ventura to spend one night away. We shared a lot of laughs, yummy meals, a bike ride along the beach and a little shopping around town. Abbie scored with a really darling shirt from Goodwill for one dollar and fifty cents. I’m so glad she is open to alternative shopping.
We also decided to drop by Urth Caffe on our way home from Ventura. The one we stopped at happened to be in the art district so we also got to see some really beautiful art walls and take a few pictures. It’s been such a long while since I shared mother daughter photo’s on my blog. These are some of the pictures we took on our way home that I really love. I also really love that my 15 year old Sophomore still loves spending time with her mama.
