hello, just checking in

May 15, 2017
“Actions prove who someone is, words just prove who they want to be.”
— Not known

This quote is meaningful to me because as for me so many times I have said things that I intended to do but just never did and without physical actions I can’t get to where I would like to be.  My recent actions have been proof that this little quote by author unknown is true!

Last week I was down 16 pounds, this week it crept up a tad but that’s OK too.  This is for the long haul and this weekend I fully enjoyed myself, even said yes to a mimosa while shopping.  My first response was “no thank you”  then I said “wait, yes, I think I will have a mimosa while I shop”  I think I need to learn to say yes more.  It was nice too, felt so special, I think they might do that so one might say yes a little more to the things in the shop.

I just went on a walk and made 4 trips around the school.  With each trip I picked up a feather.  I found 4 sweet feathers mostly white with a little black on them.  They were so pretty so I brought them in and took their picture.  I love collecting things on my walk.  If I were a bird my nest would be so awesome.

Lastly, a creative friend of mine is encouraging us to start back with our “Bench Mondays”  Last week I did one and this week I did one and I hope that lots of others will join in.  I had forgot how much fun it is.

Just a little shout out to say hello and wish you a good week.  I might check in again on Wednesday when I do my “official” weekly weigh in.  Think about joining me next Monday for Bench Monday.  That would make my day.

I want to thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you taking an interest in what I share here in this space.  I know you are very busy so it means even more when you take a moment of your time to spend it here.  I'm very grateful. I have been spending more time on You Tube and if you would like to visit there, I would love to see you.
